Engagements

Bonnie and Jonathan had their colourful engagement session at one of my favourite Toronto spots: Princes’ Gate, right by Exhibition Place. With fall colours nearby and a gorgeous architectural entrance, I love this spot for its clean lines and the contrasting colours of the black gates and cream columns. Even when the area is busy, it’s easy to carve out a spot where you get a gorgeous backdrop, and when the sun is out, it is completely *chef’s kiss.*

I also love it for its nearness to Trillium Park, so those who love greenery and colour – as Bonnie and Jonathan do – can have it all! And it did not disappoint. With beautiful oranges, yellows, and reds mixed into the greenery that had not yet disappeared for the season, the park was just what Bonnie and Jonathan had hoped for.

…a dress that was able to catch the movement of the wind…

Although it was windy near the beginning of their session, Bonnie and Jonathan persevered with laughter and enjoyed themselves throughout. Wearing a dress that was able to catch the movement of the wind, Bonnie’s blue outfit also added an additional element of colour that contrasted well with Jonathan’s neutral palette.

After spending some time at Princes’ Gate and walking through Trillium Park, we ended the session near the entrance of the park where there was a beautiful view of the sun casting its setting light on the C.N. Tower. We were also able to get some beautiful shots by the water,

Bonnie and Jonathan, your engagement session was such a fun way to get to know you both a bit better! I can’t wait for your wedding and I hope that wedding planning brings lots of fun moments together, especially in the midst of wrapping up school. Your images bring me a lot of joy, and I hope they do for you too!
