Lovisa and Jack’s wedding was the last of my 2022 season, and it was such a fun one to end on! This couple is so fun to be around, and getting to know them better on their wedding day was so special.
Lovisa and Jack were intentional about including their family. From having them help during prep, inviting them to watch their first look, and wearing a mix of jewelry that was gifted by family members, Lovisa and Jack spent the morning surrounded by the people they loved. From their engagement session early this year, I also knew they really love their dog Missy. They wanted to include her on their wedding day, and their cute cake topper was a sweet tribute to her.
Lovisa and Jack wanted a wedding day they could enjoy and be present for. This meant doing their portraits in the same hotel suite where she got ready and where they had their first look. Their ceremony and reception were held at the same venue, and even when their officiant arrived late due to crazy long-weekend traffic, they stayed cool and collected, and their bridal party was amazing at rescheduling some of the reception games to ensure guests stayed engaged and ready for the ceremony to begin!
Lovisa and Jack, I think your engagement session was my first of this year, and your wedding was my last. What a way to bookend a year! I have LOVED being a part of your celebration, getting to meet Missy and your lovely bridal party, and getting to know you both! Thank you for inviting me along this journey, and trusting me in the process. I’m so happy for you both – congratulations again!
