The first time you meet Annet, what strikes you most is her contagious smile. When you’re with her, you’re happier. You can’t help it. And that–along with her stunning beauty and amazing warmth–is what caught Brad’s attention.
They met two years before their wedding. Almost to the day. They were both attending Katelyn and Caleb’s wedding (which we were working at!). Annet and Katelyn were friends from university. Brad and Caleb were cousins. Katelyn had a suspicion that Annet and Brad would get along and sat them at the same table during the reception.
She was right. For two people not actively interested in dating, Annet and Brad really hit it off.
Brad is a very social guy but his family spoke of how little he was interested in dating until he met Annet. He became a completely new person, a sudden romantic, cuddling and holding hands on a family vacation.
Annet, on the other hand, well, she didn’t fare much better. According to an in-person poll conducted at the wedding, approximately 20% of the wedding guests received an ecstatic text from her when they had their first kiss.
All day at their Deter Farms country wedding, Annet and Brad glowed with happiness; their love for each other was tangible; they were the type to keep being cute even when we put down our cameras. Holding each other close, making each other laugh, whispering in each other’s ears. We wanted to capture almost every moment during portraits–even when we were simply walking between locations.
Annet and Brad, we loved loved LOVED being a part of your day. Seeing how much you guys are in love makes our passion for what we do so much deeper. You love with such fire and with such depth. It’s the kind of love that people look at and want for themselves! All we can say is our hearts are so full to see your joy for life and for each other continue into this new season!
